Semasar Mount is located in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia, in the northeastern part of the Teqsar mountain range, in the upper reaches of the Arpa River, 7 km northeast of Getikvank village. Semsar is the highest point of the Teqsar mountain range with its height of 3379 meters.
