Gegharot river is located in Aragatsotn region of Armenia, is the right tributary of Kasakh river. It starts from the eastern slope of Aragats, at an altitude of 3600 m, 1 km south-east of Apnagyugh it joins the main river. The length is 25 km, the catchment area is 66 km. The river valley is V-shaped i gorge, widening in the lower stream. Feeding is mainly thawing (69%), flooding in May-June. The average annual consumption is 0.94 m3 / s. It freezes in winter. There are mines and water outlets in the river valley. Water is used for irrigation.
