
Zangezur Mountain Range is located in Syunik Province, in the south-east of Armenia. It stretches towards the midday, from Vardenis and eastern Sevan ridges (Mount Keti) to the Meghri gorge of the Arax River. The length is about 130 km. The highest altitude is Kaputjugh Mountain, the height of which is 3904 m. The mountain slopes to the west, to Vayk, and to the east, to the mountains of Bargushat and Meghri.
