Yeranos Mountain Range is located in Armenia, 8 km north-east of the village of Lanjazat, near the northern edge of the Ararat Province. The highest point is Mount Yranos, the height is 1823 m. The locals call it the Red Mountain, it is in the middle of the chain.

At the top there is a beautiful view of Mount Ararat, Gegham, Aragats and of course, there is a beautiful view of the Azat reservoir with its beautiful scenery. Part of the chain is part of the Khosrov Reserve. The slopes, with the exception of the east, are very steep, 40 ° or more.
