Yeranos Mountain is located in Armenia, near the northern edge of Ararat region, in the western half of the Yeranos mountain range, 8 km northeast of Lanjazat village. The highest point of the mountain range is the mountain of the same name Yeranos, the locals call it - Red Mountain, it is located in the middle of the chain. From the top there is a beautiful view of Ararat, Geghama, Aragats mountains և of course it opens a beautiful view to Azat reservoir with its beautiful landscape. Part of the chain enters the Khosrov reserve. The height is 1823 m. The slopes, except for Arjelyan, are very steep, 40 ° and more. The north-western slope is a 750 m high cliff, which descends to the Azat River valley.
