Winter Climb Mount Yeranos

Mount Yeranos is located in the Ararat region, in the western half of the Eranos mountain range, 8 km to the north-east of the village of Landjazat. The highest point of the mountain massif is the mountain of the same name Yeranos, the locals call it Red Mountain, it is located in the middle of the chain. From the top there is a beautiful view of the mountains Ararat, Gegama, Aragats and, finally, a beautiful view of the Azat reservoir with its beautiful landscape. Part of the chain is included in the Khosrovsky reserve. Altitude 1823 m. The slopes, except for the eastern ones, are very steep, 40° and more. The north-western slope is a cliff 750 m high, descending into the valley of the river Azat.

• This tour is of medium difficulty and doesn't require any special physical preparation (In case of health problems, let us know in advance)
