Vayk Mountains is a mountain range in western part of the Republic of Armenia, western branch of Zangezur Ridge. T-shape stretches toward parallel. Has a cracked structure. It is composed of limestone, limestone massacres, sandstone, conglomerates, north-east, andesiticides, dextillipartites. The length is 64 km, the maximum height is 3120 m (Goghi mountain). The western part gradually diminishes, is branched and melt down to the Nakhichevan plains. There are extreme, conical domes up to 150 m high. The northern slope goes down to the Arpa valley, with erosion-condensation stairs.

There are caves. The southern and southwestern slopes are more fragmented, down the Midaraxian descent. The lower part of the slopes is developed by Bedland. Tributaries of Arpa and Nakhichevan on the slopes of the mountain chain have caused water catching cats and erosion grooves, among which outstanding skiing girdle on the southern slope. In the eastern part there are traces of ice cover (rocks, bush).
