
Vayk Mountains is a mountain range in western part of the Republic of Armenia, western branch of Zangezur Ridge. T-shape stretches toward parallel. Has a cracked structure. It is composed of limestone, limestone massacres, sandstone, conglomerates, north-east, andesiticides, dextillipartites. The length is 64 km, the maximum height is 3120 m (Goghi mountain). The western part gradually diminishes, is branched and melt down to the Nakhichevan plains. There are extreme, conical domes up to 150 m high. The northern slope goes down to the Arpa valley, with erosion-condensation stairs.
