Vardenis Mountains Range Mountains of Armenia’s Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor Provinces and the Republic of Artsakh, on the southern edge of Lake Sevan. They stretch from the Gndasar mountain range of the Geghama Mountains to the Greater Tsarasar mountain range. The length is about 60 km. The highest altitude is the Vardenis mountain, which has a height of 3522 meters.
