Vahagn Waterfall is located in the Ararat region of Armenia. One of 4 waterfalls on the territory of the Khosrov State Reserve, popularly named after the ancient pagan goddess. Vahagn and Astghik waterfalls are mythologically connected with each other. In the pagan pantheon, Astghik was the goddess of beauty and fertility, the wife of Vishapakah Vahagn, the god of fire and war.
