Tsghuk Mountain is located 30 km from Sisian, on the Syunik mountain range. The ancient settlement of Ughtasar, rich in petroglyphs, is located on the slopes of the mountain, where more than 2000 cave paintings (petroglyphs) were discovered, at the foot of the mountain, around small lakes formed as a result of eruptions, in gorges and on a plateau. These are one of the most ancient monuments of Syunik. Most of the cave paintings are carved on a horizontal or vertical smooth surface of rock fragments of copper and black. The depth of the drawings is 2-6 mm, the width of the lines is 2-20 mm. The height of the mountain is 3584 meters.
