First of all, it is customary to keep the entrance to the inner tent permanently closed. If it's hot, only a mosquito net is left on the door, but when entering / leaving it must be closed behind you. The same should be done at night and during the day. This is a rule of good manners among tourists. Then in the morning no one is busy shaking out ants and other forest habitants from the sleeping bag.

When going to bed in the evening, it is enough, after waiting for the last person to climb into the tent, batten down the entrances and exits and, with the help of a few slaps, slap all the mosquitoes that have managed to fly inside. Even if there are quite a few of them, it is usually not difficult to do this. Most of them accumulate under the ceiling in the area of the tent ridge, and are clearly visible against a light background. After finishing the hunt, you can safely fall asleep, no one else will disturb.

In a large four or five-person tent, where it is more difficult to catch them, you can solve the problem with the help of smoke. Speaking the truth, despite the antiquity of the method, it does not always lead to a 100% result and often someone still has to manually clean up. The entrance opens wide so that mosquitoes can fly out, and a couple of bowls of smoking embers from the fire are placed inside for 15 minutes. One is placed on top the other, so that they do not heat up and do not float the bottom of the tent. Or a couple of smoldering anti-mosquito spirals are placed, but also necessarily in a bowl or on something fire-resistant, because this flimsy structure very often breaks down. Of course, you should not eat from a “mosquito” bowl.
