Sipan Mountain is considered one of the pearls of the Armenian Highlands. It is located in Western Armenia on the northern side of Lake Van. There are many disputes about the height of the mountain, many sources in the literature mention the height of 4434 meters, which is incorrect, the real height of the mountain is 4058 meters, therefore Sipan is the 5th highest mountain in the Armenian highlands, after Ararat (5165 m), Sabalan (4811 m), Djilo (4168 m) and Aragats (4090 m).
Sipan Mountain
The slopes of Mount Sipan are covered with beautiful meadows and colorful flowers, and two ponds have formed from the snowmelt on the heights, the waters of which feed the lakes flowing from the Tsaghkants Mountains to Lake Van.
