1981
Hatis Tour was founded on March 2 by Martin Martirosyan. Our main goal is to develop a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the human-nature connection, get to know the nature and architectural monuments of our country, without any age restrictions.
1982
We are the first in Armenia to start active tours, hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, orientation in Armenia and beyond.
1983
For the first time in Armenia, a first-category hiking that seemed unreal at the time was organized.
1984
We went to Lake Baikal (Siberia) to take part in seminars and the 4th level hiking.
1985
We started teaching active tourism courses in Armenia, we went to Latvia to exchange experiences and participate in seminars.
1986
For the first time in Armenia, a 2-category hike was organized.
1987
To improve our qualifications, we again went to Baikal (Siberia) to take part in a seminar and a hiking of the 5th category.
1989
Due to the circumstances, a rescue squad was formed.
1991
An active program was organized and the group left for the Baltic countries, which were part of the then USSR. There, the group added experience in teaching orientation and a novelty for Armenia - Kayaking.
1992
Again went to the Baltic states of Estonia to take part in a first-class water hike on the Gaua River.
1993
We organized a ski camp and held a 1st class skiing hike.
1994
A seminar and a water hike were organized in the Urals along the Chusovaya River.
1995
We made the first climb of Europe's highest peak, Elbrus.
1996
We made the first attempt to climb Mount Ararat.
1997
We were the first group to organize a multi-day hiking and rock climbing in Artsakh.
1998
We were the first in Armenia to organize a 5th category complexity hiking.
1999
We had a 10-day exercise and active rest in Sevan, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
2000
On Mayor’s order, a mountain rescue squad was created with 20 participants, 5 of which were doctors.
2001
As Public Rescue Squad Hatis, it was included in the Emergency Situations Department (ESD), the current Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES). The squad also represented Kentron community.
2002
We had a 5-day trekking to the Geghama Mountain Range.
2003
We had a 4-day trip to Mount Aragats and a tour to the Syunik region, climbing Mount Mets Ishkhanasar.
2004
We had a 3-day educational trip to Syunik region and climbed Mount Khustup.
2005
Round Dance. Few people know, but according to the plan, early in the morning of the round dance, on the 4 peaks of Aragats, colored fireworks were lit up. The northern and western peaks of Aragats were entrusted to the Hatis Rescue Squad, which, despite the bad weather, carried out the task.
2006
The filming of the famous Russian movie “Svolochi” started, it was mainly shot in Armenia. In the difficult scenes of the film the Hatis members were pictured, all happening under difficult winter conditions.
2007
Hatis Tour organized a 17-day hiking trip which started in Meghri and ended in Yerevan.
2008
The name of Hatis Tour is in honor of Mount Hatis. According to the tradition, on the last Sunday of each year we climb the mountain to say goodbye to the old year, and the next hiking is on March 2, the day of our foundation. In 2008, the Hatis members placed a symbolic cross on top of the mountain with a note that still stands.
2009
We had a 7-day training seminar in Vayots Dzor within the framework of the rescue squad. The skills of the rescue squad were improved.
2010
A mountain rescue squad is starting to operate in the club.
2011
Several day tours to Lori and Tavush are being organized.
2012
We had many tours and climbed Mount Mets Ishkhanasar.
2013
We organized First Aid free courses for citizens.
2014
We organized several eco tours with the participation of citizens.
2015
We organized a 4-day educational trip to Artsakh.
2016
We took part in evacuation rescue rallies and competitions organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and had our first attempt to climb Mount Sipan.
2017
That year, the only large group that climbed Mount Ararat was the Hatis tour group. On September 21 The Independence Day we celebrated with all the members of the group on the top of the mountain. We also carried out a 3-day Expeditionary Trip in Artsakh, during which we discovered many beautiful places in the Kashatagh region that were unknown to the public .
2018
We had many tours. We'd like to specifically mention the 4 group to the West Armenia and climbing up Mount Ararat.
2019
This year was quite active. We had 3 groups to the Western Armenia and climbed Mount Ararat.
P.S
Our history is rich in events and traditions. Over the years, we have had many, many achievements that we didn't mention here. It should be noted that the best mountain guides in Armenia have been trained in our club.
