Climbing Mount Tesilq - One Day Tour in Armenia
Mount Tesilq is located in the Tavush region, near the village of Gandzakar. The mountain is one of the branches of the Miapor Range, well expressed from the city of Ijevan. Locals call it Budurskaya mountain. On the top of the mountain, the ruins of the Budur fortress have been preserved, and on the eastern side there is a cave of Mount Tesilq. There is a large cross on the top, and a beautiful view of the Ijevan and Miapor mountain ranges, the city of Ijevan and the village of Gandzakar (which the locals half-jokingly call the semi-serious Volgograd because of its length) opens up. The height of the mountain is 1372 meters. We will start the ascent from the village of Gandzakar and finish it in the village of Gandzakar.
