Mantash Reservoir is located in the Shirak Region of Armenia, on the Mantash River, on the slope of Aragats, at an altitude of 2550 meters. It was commissioned in 1967 and reconstructed in 1973. The area is 0.79 km2, maximum depth - 25 m, water capacity - 8.2 million m3, useful - 7.9 million m3. Feeding is mixed, flow regulation is seasonal. The dam is stone-filled with a reinforced concrete lining, its length is 407 m, its maximum height is 29 m. Water is released through a tower-type irrigation culvert. The water is used for irrigation purposes in Artik and nearby villages.
