Machu Picchu

The plane arrives at the airport of Cusco in southwestern Peru. After 15-20 minutes we already get to the hotel, where we rest after a long flight. Time also allows you to walk the streets of the city for several hours, adapt to the height of the city (The city is located at an altitude of about 3500 meters above sea level).

Overnight in Cusco

The day of adventures has begun. 08:00 in the morning.On the 30th we will head to the colorful city of Chinchero, where we will see the buildings of the Inca walls and its small church colony, the history of which will surprise you., we will go to Ollantaytambo Station to continue the train journey. The train will take us to Aguas Calientes (the city closest to Machu Picchu):

Overnight In Aguas Calientes

This day will be one of the best days of your life, as we will visit one of the 7 wonders of the world-Machu Picchu. We will take a bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. after registering with a passport, we will drive with a guide for about 2 hours through the most famous places of the Inca citadel, get acquainted with the history in detail. we will enjoy the historical sanctuary in all its splendor, as well as capture the beautiful views on camera. After that we will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch. Ollantaytambo, then Cuzco.

Overnight in Cusco

We will start today's journey early in the morning at 05.00. After breakfast, we will continue by transport to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. So, we will start about a two-hour hike. During the ascent, we will have the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna inhabiting this area. In the vicinity we will see original birds, as well as admire the surrounding snowy mountains., an incredibly beautiful place, a road, the views of which will remain in your memory for a long time.

Overnight in Cusco

We will go to the south of the city, crossing fields, rivers, mountains, villages. We will drive about 2 hours before we reach the city of Kusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we will reach Pulavasipata, the starting point of the hike, observing beautiful landscapes, canyons, glaciers and herds of llamas and alpacas along the way. After about 2 hours of walking we will reach the mountain of flowers or Vinikunka: The mountain is also called Rainbow Mountain. The height of the mountain is 5200 meters. This means that you are climbing to almost the same altitude as the Everest base camp in Nepal. After climbing the mountain, enjoying the beautiful and colorful views of the mountain, we will head to Kusipata. 

Along the way we will see South American camels, as well as the highest peak of Cusco, Mount Ausangate (6384 meters). After lunch in cusipate we will return to Cuzco: 

Overnight in Cusco

In the morning we will take the train to the city of Ollantaytambo, known to tourists in South America.  Olantaytambo was a very important agricultural, military and religious center during the Inca Empire. After seeing the city, we will go to another archaeological city of Peru, the City of the Seas, an ancient building designed for agricultural research and the study of various crops at different heights.

Overnight in Cusco

After packing up, we still have about 4-5 hours to explore the city. Cusco has a fairly ancient history. Archaeological excavations have shown that people began to settle here more than 3 thousand years ago. We will walk through the streets of the city, study the different architecture, buildings, and also talk with local residents.

We are heading to the airport, where a long flight awaits us.

However, the flight is quite long, so we will have time to sum up our memories, to survive a week-long trip.
