Kirants Canyon or Qarahan Canyon is located in the Tavush region of Armenia. The canyon itself is very beautiful and wooded, rich in old churches, a river, a bridge and settlements that were inhabited in ancient times, and now only the foundations of houses remain. The Kirants River (Qarahan River), which is 31 km long, flows through the canyon. The Arakelots Monastery and the Kirants Monastery are located in the canyon, and the ancient Sranots bridge is located on the river.
