Jrap Caravanserai is located in the Shirak Region of Armenia, 10-11 centuries. is a structure and belongs to the one-hall-three-nave arched type. It is built mainly of black hewn tuff stones, with lime mortar, and the floor is made of stone tiles. Its longitudinal axis is directed from north to south. The preserved part of the Nerkin Jrapi caravanserai is a three-aisled hall with a total length of 31m and a width of 13.65m. According to the length, 8 thick gables were installed in two rows, which divide the hall into 3 naves and are connected to each other by arches. The caravanserai was built on the main road leading to Ani from Georgia and the northern provinces of Armenia. This caravanserai, together with the famous Chrpli bridge spanning the Akhuryan, which served the old trade route, is without a doubt one of the leading monuments of the secular architecture of medieval Armenia.
