Travel mat (Karemat)

No matter how warm the sleeping bag is, this is only a half of the story. Due to the fact that the soft, air-filled material of the sleeping bag crumples to a thickness of only a few millimeters under the weight of a sleeping person, it practically does not isolate us from the cold ground from below and adds little to its softness. Therefore, the second integral part of the modern camping bed is the mat. Or, as it is also called among tourists "karemat".

The main types of mats used in modern hiking, mountaineering and other activities where the equipment is carried daily in a backpack behind the shoulders will be discussed below.

They began to appear in our country at the beginning of the two thousands and have gained great popularity over the past decade.

3. Next generation air mattresses

The first decade of the XXI century gave the world two more tourism mat designs. So far, we don’t see them as often in our stores, but obviously, they’re going to increase over time.
