Hike to Azat Canyon

On Sunday, January 24, together with Hatis Tour, we will go to Azat Canyon, Kotayk region. We will start the route from Geghard Monastery, which is considered a real historical and cultural monument of the Republic of Armenia, a part of the UNESCO World Heritage. On the way we will visit a beautiful cave, which is located in a big rock. Watching it, we descend to the gorge, where there are many caves. Enjoying the beauty of the gorge, we will continue the route to the Symphony of Stones, ending at the pagan temple of Garni (entrance as desired). On the way we will stop at Charents Arch, from where a beautiful view of Mount Ararat opens. 

Participants must have: mask, backpack, mountain climbing boots, warm mountain uniform, jacket, hat (summer, winter), gloves, sunscreen cream, lamp, raincoat, sunglasses, hiking gaiters, one-day food and water

Participation cost per person is 5000 AMD (transport, escort)
