Adventure Georgia 7 days

We leave Yerevan at 05:00 in the morning and head to Tbilisi (we cross the border from the Bagratashen checkpoint). Arrival in Tbilisi in the afternoon, we will have a stop in the city, we will see the Bridge of Peace, we will have free time for a walk and we will visit the Legvtakhevi waterfall. After enjoying the beauties of Tbilisi, we will go to Imereti. Well, upon arrival, we can only enjoy delicious local teas, have dinner and spend the evening by the fire. We will spend the night in tents.

Aren't we very relaxed? Yes, it's time to walk. In the morning after coffee, we will head to the Kinchkha waterfall, the main waterfall of which is 70 meters high. From the Kinchkha waterfall we will go to the Lomina river - a waterfall, amazing nature in the Okatse gorge. Not getting wet in such beautiful waterfalls will be a big omission for us. So we will have free time to swim in the fresh water of waterfalls (rivers) and make the rest complete. The length of the hike is 7 km, the average duration is one and a half hours. After the waterfalls, we will head to the village of Ushguli (altitude 2410 meters above sea level). The road on SUVs will be fabulous, rich in views of the Caucasus Mountains, where life stops and nature speaks. The village is located at the foot of one of the highest peaks of the Caucasus, Shkhara. We arrange overnight stay in a guest house.

The Shkhara glacier is located on the slope of Mount Shkhara, which is the highest peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus, at an altitude of 5021 m. Moreover, this is the highest peak in Georgia, the third highest in the entire Caucasus and in Russia. The mountain range separates Russia and Georgia, being a natural border. We will start the hike from Ushguli, drive up to the foot of the glacier in off-road vehicles, after which we will walk to the glacier. The length of the hike is 12 km. On this day we will visit the Church of the Holy Mother of God Ushguli (9th-10th century). It's time to change direction to the village of Mestia, where we will spend the night in tents.

It's time to see and get acquainted with one of the cultural centers of Georgia, Mestia. Many medieval churches and fortresses of the Mestia region are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Mestia is considered the center of mountain tourism and mountaineering, as climbing Ushba, Zhang Tau, Shkhara and other peaks begin from here. During the trip, we will walk around Mestia, visit historical and ethnographic museums, churches, other historical and cultural monuments, see the bust of the famous highlander Mikhail Khergiani, who was born in Mestia. We will get to the place by cable car, from where we will see the giant "two-headed" mountain Ushba (height - 4710 meters). After enjoying a beautiful view of the mountains, we will continue our way to the village of Mazeri. We will also spend the night in a beautiful valley.

To get to Ushba, we cannot see the highest waterfall in Georgia. Early in the morning we start hiking to the Shdugra waterfall. Along the way, we will enjoy beautiful pine forests, views of the beautiful gorge of the Ushba River:. We will also climb the Ushba glacier. What remains for us, tourists, for a complete holiday? You are right, sea. After beautiful photos of nature, we will head to Shekvetili, where we will organize a tent camp on the shore.

To make the journey complete, we will have a whole day on the Black Sea coast, in the morning we will admire the sunrise, and in the evening we will have a sunset by the fire.

The next morning we will start our way to Yerevan. On the same day at night around 23:00 we will reach the city.
