Mount Fujiyama which is also known as Fuji or Fujisan. Mount Fujiyama, whose height is 3776 meters, is an active volcano on the island of Honshu. It is also the highest peak in Japan. Mount Fuji is located 90 km west-southwest of Tokyo. Besides being the highest peak, Fujiyama is also considered a holy mountain. It is a center of religious pilgrimage and tourism.
