Flag of Armenia - is considered one of the state symbols of Armenia. It is defined by the Constitution of Armenia and the law on the flag. It is composed of red, blue, orange colors (from top to bottom) with equal horizontal stripes. It is the same size and color as the flag of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920).

The 2006 law states: "The red color symbolizes the Armenian Plateau, the constant struggle of the Armenian people for survival, Christian faith, independence and freedom of Armenia.
