Chumov Lake

Hydrography

Chumov Lake is located in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia. The lake is located near the village of Hin Martiros. The distance from the village is about 2.1 km, and from the village of Martiros - 4.7 km. It is located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. It is distinguished by its appearance in that it has a small island inside. Not far from the lake is the monastery of Martirosants or the church of St. Astvatsatsin, carved into the rock. Mount Nazar (2445 meters) is located near Lake Chumov.
