Azat Reservoir is located in Ararat region of Armenia, in the middle stream of Azat river, near Lanjazat village. It was put into operation in 1976. The area is 2.85 km2, the total volume is 70 million m3. The maximum depth of the reservoir is 72.4 m. It feeds on springs.
