Arqashen River is located in Aragatsotn province, in Armenia. It is the left bank of Amberd River. It begins on the western coast of Lake Qari on Mount Aragats and 4 km north-west from Antarut village. The length is 13 km. At the place of the mix Rivers Amberd and Arqashen (At an altitude of 2,300 meters) is the Armenian medieval architectural monument of Amberd.
