Mount Abul is an extinct volcano in the historical Javakhk, Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Abul-Samsar ridge. This is the highest volcanic mountain, extinct at 3301 m in the Javakhk Highlands. The slopes are covered with windproof quarries and alpine meadows.
